About the Project
Title: Re-Thinking Libraries
Project Level: 3rd Year
Project Length: 7 Weeks
Square Footage: 35,000
Concept: By Way of Moonlight
Much like the phases of the moon, there are many phases we experience in life. During college we especially find this to be true as many things are forever changing. Throughout this project I will capture the phases of a college career through material, public vs. private, and designing for the many college, majors, and learning styles SDSU has to offer.

Considerations:
In this project we were challenged to redesign Hilton M. Briggs Library on SDSU campus utilizing Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory to ensure that students with all learning styles feel comfortable in the library. We were also tasked to research and understand Brutalist Architecture as to respect and uphold the integrity of the architectural style in which the library was originally constructed.
